CRU's Steel Sheet Quarterly Report analyses recent trends in market fundamentals and presents five year forecasts of steel sheet production, consumption, stocks and prices.

The Steel Sheet Quarterly Report provides analysis in separate chapters for each major region of the steel sheet market, covering North America, Europe, East & South East Asia, the CIS, Latin America and India, the Middle East, Australia and Africa.

Each report also contains detailed historical and forecast statistics on production, consumption, trade and prices for hot-rolled, cold rolled and galvanised coil and sheet.

Monthly price forecasts

A subscription to CRU Steel Sheet Quarterly also included monthly updates of steel sheet price forecasts. Updated price forecasts are supplied, in Excel format, for the following markets:

• US domestic (Midwest)
• German domestic
• Far East import
• Chinese domestic

These monthly updated forecasts will focus on near term price forecasts and will be presented for the next year, on a quarterly basis.  Each monthly update of CRU price forecasts will be supplied with a succinct summary of:

• key assumptions that underpinned the previously published forecasts
• major developments during the past month
• fundamental assumptions that underpin the updated forecasts

Summary presentation

A PowerPoint presentation summarising the key points of the forecast is sent to subscribers via email allowing you to update your colleagues on the latest market fundamentals in a clear and concise way.

Online access service

CRU’s password protected online service offers you unlimited access to downloadable files of the reports and the statistical data contained in chapters and appendices. The data is updated every quarter. As each new edition is posted to the site, previous editions are archived, building into your own historical database.
